Don't Self-Abandon

Do not self-abandon 

Even if you’re scared

Even if you’re overwhelmed 

Even if the boot is on your neck

Do not abandon your joy, your creativity, your whimsy…

These are the roots of the new world. 

A world where evil is the outlier, not the norm. 

And if men can manage to reconnect with their own creativity, joy, and whimsy, it will be a safe world— for everyone. 

This begins with our internal dialogue--how we speak to ourselves-our inner child/ren. If you wouldn't speak to a child or pet standing in front of you with the words in your head...those words need to change.

It's easy to drop in to shame hearing this but I want you to feel it as an opportunity. Not to feel bad about yourself but to see that little one inside as needing and deserving of love and support and feeling proud that you can provide that for them.

There is so much evil in this world. Do not use it to justify...use it as a catalyst for self-love.
