Ingredients: Bentonite clay, wildcrafted/organic herbs: Plantain (Plantago lanceolata/major/rugelii), Calendula (Calendula officinalis), Self Heal (Prunella vulgaris), and Chickweed (Stellaria media).
Directions: 1. Steep herb packet in 1/4 cup boiling water and allow to cool to room temperature, covered.
2. Add cooled tea, a little at a time, to the clay, stirring to combine.
3. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
4. Optional: You may add essential oils after mixing to help preserve the clay longer and to add to the healing properties. I like to add true lavender and tea tree oil. If your skin gets extra hot and red with bites a few drops of german chamomile is very cooling.
To Use: Apply a thick layer to bites, rashes, and itchy skin and allow to dry and flake off. Reapply as needed. Apply poultice as thick as how deep you need to draw from your tissues. So, if you have a bite that is very inflamed and it appears to be about 1/4 inch deep into your skin...apply at least 1/4 inch of poultice on top of it.
